Garnish Settlement, Hunza 4, 2022

Description

In Hunza we visited an Ganish Settlement, it’s ancient with mud buildings highly decorated tiny mosques and fortifications. There are still five original families living there in small dwellings and little of the fundamentals that we in the west  would consider necessities. The mosques although small are highly decorated, with motifs taken from the Hindu faith as well as Islam as well (to my great joy) so which were made by Alexander the Greats troops.  This settlement is over 2,000 years old! How many stories are buried in these walls?
