Goloa Railway Station, 2022

Description

Early one morning my friend Abubaker and I travelled a short distance out of Islamabad to Galoa Railway Station. it’s a working railway station and a museum (about the railway line and this particular Station).  It was a beautiful day with the sun shining brightly, it is also very peaceful there unlike the normal bustle of Pakistan.

Abubaker discovered that the station was just about to have it’s annual inspection and the staff all in the best white uniforms were waiting in anticipation of the arrival of inspection train full of dignitaries. Yet with all this imminent activity just about to happen the place and staff were incredibly calm.   It was a lovely way to start or day.
