Description

It takes 17 hours by car to travel between Islamabad and Hunza, along many of the most treacherous mud tracks I have ever seen, yet alone been on. Mountains on one side and step sloops on the other leading down to narrow valleys where the river Indus carves it way through. From time to time we went through small settlements, teaming with life, bright colours and smells of street food. I just loved looking at the life of these towns and just had to paint them.
