Tower of Arnolfo, 2020

Description

I exhibited in Florence in March 2020 just before the Covid Pandemic really hit hard. The city was empty and within a few day exhibition was closed, then my flight was cancelled, then my rearranged second flight was cancelled, then I was told that my hotel was closing and the bars and restaurants closed. In a panic I got in touch with my daughter who arranged an escape route for me. It took nearly 48 hours to get home zigzagging across Europe but eventually I got home. What an adventure.
